Our Classes are offered every other Sunday. Also select evening classes split into two four hour training sessions twice throughout that week. The Training Program provided for this class will include the following training and benefits: 1. Four hours of classroom training on the subject matter as provided by the Tennessee Department of Safety's requirements. This course will include lecture, as well as graphically presented material. You will be tutored as necessary to pass the written test requirements. 2. Four hours Range exercises, including "live fire" practice to insure that you achieve the necessary skills not only to pass the practical qualification test, but to feel confident that you have achieved a level of competency that will prevail in the case of a practical application of the skills you have learned. 3. Materials and Supplies Provided to Complete Course: a. 22LR Handgun for Qualifying b. Qualifying Ammunition (50 Rounds) c. Textbooks and various other educational materials d. Targets used for qualifying e. Two range passes for additional practice before or after course completion f. Eye & Ear Protection provided during range exercises (we also carry these items for sale in the showroom) g. Certificate of Completion upon successfully meeting the requirements for the award as provided for by State Law. Gun City USA Classroom

Why do I need a Carry Permit?
By receiving your permit, you may:
a. Carry your handgun anywhere in the State of Tennessee
b. Protect your loved ones death or grave bodily harm
Also, by taking the course, you will learn about handgun safety, how to operate a handgun properly, improve and maintain your shooting skills, enhance your personal protection and much more.

How long will it take to receive my permit?
Once you have received your certificate from Gun City, and applied for your permit at the Department of Safety, approximately 90 days.
When can I take the class?
Once you have paid for the class, you may select a class date. You may choose from a Sunday class that runs from 10AM until 6PM, or a Tuesday/Thursday class that runs from 5PM to 9PM both nights.
What must I score in order to pass the course?
Your score must be at least 70% on the written exam, and 70% on the shooting test. All of the questions that will be asked on the test will be discussed in the lecture, as well as being covered in the textbooks.
